Hope of victory through sympathy vote!
However, before the assembly elections in Maharashtra, NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui was murdered. Baba Siddiqui was shot dead on October 12 near Zeeshan Siddiqui’s office. After this, it was believed that after the murder of his father, Zeeshan Siddiqui would win by sympathy vote but it did not happen and he had to face defeat.
