Ingredients to make Jackfruit Biryani (Take as per your requirement)
- Jackfruit
- chopped onion
- Rice
- coriander powder
- cumin powder
- Green chilly
- ginger garlic paste
- Almond
- Cashew
- Garam Masala
- Saffron
- red chilli
- freshly ground black pepper
- Lemon juice
- oil as required
- salt as required
How to make Jackfruit Biryani
- To make jackfruit biryani, first cut the jackfruit and take out the pulp.
- After this, cut the onion into small pieces and keep the green chillies cut.
- Now put oil in a pan and heat it on low flame.
- When the oil becomes hot, fry the chopped onions in it. When the onions are fried well, take them out in a plate.
- After this, roast cashews and almonds one by one and take them out in a separate plate.
- Once again heat the pan and add jackfruit and fry it.
- When the jackfruit gets roasted a little, put the fried onions in the same pan.
- Add cumin powder, red chili powder, finely chopped green chilies, black pepper powder, saffron salt to it and stir well.
- Add ginger garlic paste and lemon juice to it and mix well.
- Now leave it to cook for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Now take out half cooked rice.
- Now make a layer of half cooked rice in a vessel
- Put a layer of prepared spice of jackfruit on it.
- After this, put the second layer of rice and add jackfruit and spices again.
- By doing this, prepare layer by layer.
- Finally, add cashews, almonds, saffron and fried onions and cover the pan.
- Let it cook on low flame for about 20 minutes.
- Your Jackfruit Biryani is ready. Serve it with raita or green chutney.
