This scheme has been started for the senior citizens of Haryana, so that they do not face any kind of problem for their medicine or needs in old age. Anyone who is above 60 years of age or male can take advantage of this scheme. Making the elderly citizens of Haryana strong and self-reliant is also an important goal of starting this scheme.

Who will get the benefit of this scheme
i) the person is of 60 years of age or more
ii) the person is a resident of Haryana State
iii) Apart from this, the income from all sources including his/her spouse does not exceed Rs. 2,00,000 per annum.

1800 rupees will be available every month
Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 1800 per month is transferred by the government to all the beneficiaries i.e. annually you will get the full Rs 21600.
