It is being told that he was first taken to a government hospital, but on the pretext of better treatment, some people got him admitted to a private hospital. In the name of operation in a private hospital, the woman was kept hungry for three days, due to which she died.

In fact, Soni Bai, a resident of Korai village of Lemru police station area of ​​the district, had a fracture in her hand. To show this, the family reached the district hospital on Wednesday. Due to the closure of OPD there, a young man in the hospital told the address of better treatment in a private hospital and admitted Soni Bai to Geeta Devi Hospital in Kosabari. But Soni Bai’s husband Sukh Singh has alleged that the doctors told about the operation, after which he was kept hungry for 3 days while postponing the operation. Due to this he died on Friday.

BJP MLA staged a sit-in
As soon as the information about the death of Pahari Korwa woman was received, the politicians of the district surrounded the hospital. BJP MLA from Rampur Nanki Ram Kanwar along with his workers sat on a dharna outside the hospital and started demanding action against the doctors. After the demonstration, the district administration deployed police personnel outside the hospital. At the same time, the hospital has been sealed after the BJP’s sit-in demonstration.

Hospital sealed till the completion of the investigation
The CMHO office issued an order to seal the hospital late on Saturday night. Officials said that a complaint has been received against the hospital that the Pahari Korwa woman Soni Bai has died due to lack of treatment. After which the hospital has been sealed on the orders of the Collector. The hospital will remain completely sealed till the investigation continues. At the same time, the patients admitted in the hospital will now be shifted to the district hospital.

The director of the hospital gave clarification
Director of Geeta Devi Memorial Hospital, Dr. Brijlal Kawachi questioned the action of the district administration and said that sealing without investigation is dictatorial. Apart from this, he gave the reason for the cause of death of Soni Bai. He said that a 49-year-old woman was admitted on Wednesday evening. On investigation it was found that there is a fracture in the hand. After that the operation plan was done and the protocol of the operation was followed completely.

He told that it was planned to do the operation on the second day i.e. on Thursday. Meanwhile, an emergency case came up, due to which the operation was postponed. Soni Bai did not have an emergency case. For this, a plan was made to do the operation on Friday. But on Friday, Soni Bai was being shifted for the operation, meanwhile her condition deteriorated and she died of heart attack.
