Nitish Kumar Reddy Team India: ICC recently shared the schedule of Champions Trophy 2025. Team India will play all its matches in Dubai. The remaining matches will be played in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi of Pakistan. England has announced the team for the Champions Trophy. But India has not announced the team yet. Hardik Pandya may be removed from Team India. Nitish Kumar Reddy’s name can be considered in his place.

Actually, Pandya has been away from international cricket for a long time. Pandya played his last ODI for India against Bangladesh in October 2023. Whereas the last T20 match was played in November 2024. Pandya is also not in form at the moment. Pandya recently came to play a match for Baroda. He scored only 1 run in the match played on Saturday. Pandya was earlier out after scoring 5 runs in a match and before that he was out after scoring 10 runs.

Team India can give a chance to Nitish Reddy in place of Pandya –

Nitish Reddy is currently on Australia tour. He performed strongly for Team India and scored a century in Melbourne. This was the first century of Nitish’s Test career. If Nitish continues to perform well then he can also be given a chance for the Champions Trophy. Because of him, Hardik Pandya’s place in Team India may be in danger.

Nitish has scored 4 half-centuries in this format.
