Will there be a test match between India and Pakistan? Know who invited you to play in Australia

Michael Vaughan On IND vs PAK: Former England captain Michael Vaughan believes that the Test match between India and Pakistan should be played in Australia. The former captain’s argument behind this is that this will increase the popularity of the Test format immensely. This will make the test format exciting. However, Michael Vaughan accepts that it is not easy due to political reasons between India and Pakistan, but this option can be considered. Apart from this, if ICC intervenes then perhaps there are chances of things being resolved.

‘I wish that India and Pakistan live on Australian soil…’

Michael Vaughan said that my wish is that the teams of India and Pakistan should play Test on Australian soil. Both the teams definitely take the field against each other in tournaments like the World Cup Champions Trophy, but there has not been a Test series between India and Pakistan for a long time. I would like to see both the teams in Test format, but both the teams cannot play Test on their own soil. Therefore, both the teams can definitely play Test series in Australia or England. If this happens, both the teams will get full support at both the places.

‘I am aware that in this matter…’

Michael Vaughan further says that this will be great for the Test format. Although, I am aware that there is a lot of politics in this issue, but I believe that the Indian and Pakistani teams can consider playing the Test at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Sydney Cricket Ground or Adelaide Overs. It is noteworthy that the teams of India and Pakistan have not faced each other in the Test format for almost 18 years. The last Test series between the two teams was played in 2007-08, but since then the two teams have not faced each other in the Test.
