Bahraich Violence Update: A big revelation has come to light regarding the Nepal connection of Abdul Hameed, the main accused in the Bahraich violence. According to police sources, police and intelligence found some important clues in the investigation of Abdul Hameed’s Nepal connection. The connection of gold and silver smuggling has come to light through his elder son Pinku living in Nepal. Through smuggling, Abdul Hameed along with his son had opened another jewelery shop in Bahraich.
When the police started searching, they got information about his escape to Nepal on Monday morning. When the investigation was conducted to find out why the local police was not active in the riots, the huge income from Nepal connection turned out to be a major reason. The investigation teams suspect that Abdul Hameed and his family were involved in gold and silver smuggling as well as drug smuggling. He used many intelligence and village routes of India-Nepal border of Bahraich.
Police and Intelligence suspect that the elder son Pinku, living in Nepalganj, Nepal, is involved in smuggling. UP Police and Intelligence teams are busy searching for other links related to Abdul Hameed’s Nepal connection.
The accused were sent to judicial custody for 14 days
Let us tell you that the five accused of Bahraich violence have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days. All these accused were presented at the residence of CJM Pratibha Chaudhary in view of security. While taking major action against the houses of Sarfaraz and his associates, the main accused in Bahraich violence, PWD gave notice to 23 houses.
Panic in the area after the notice
It was told in the notice of PWD that these houses have been built illegally on government land. Now the people who received the notice are themselves vacating their houses and taking their belongings to another place. There is a stir in the area after the notice received from PWD. A large number of police forces have been deployed to maintain normal situation.
