Why doesn’t a helpless old man get a stretcher even in a hospital made of Rs 400 crore?

The government claims that India has now become the fifth largest economy in the world, on which every Indian should probably not have any problem in being proud. But our constitution also allows us to ask the question that even after reaching this height of progress, even today a stretcher is not enough for an elderly person to reach the doctor for treatment of his broken bones in a government hospital of the country. Why is there no luck?

The people of Madhya Pradesh will also demand an answer from the rulers sitting in the government, who shed crores of rupees in propagating the slogan of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, why did it happen that a helpless daughter-in-law carried her disabled father-in-law in a white sheet Had to be dragged to the doctor while sitting? That too in such a hospital, for the rejuvenation of which the Shivraj Singh government of the state has recently spent about Rs 400 crore. After facing the calamity of the Corona period, the government had claimed that the health services in the country have now been made so ready that no poor person will have to wander from door to door for treatment. Then what is this incident to be understood?

It should be good for the power of social media, whose video has exposed the negligence present in government hospitals of Madhya Pradesh government. This incident is not of any town but of Gwalior, the important city of the state, where the Scindia dynasty used to exist before independence. The same dynasty whose heir is now Jyotiraditya Scindia, who once used to be the biggest loyalist of the Congress but is now the Civil Aviation Minister in the Central Government. In fact, the Shivraj government, while rebuilding this Jayarogya hospital in the past years, has claimed to make it a hospital with 1,000 beds and equipped with all modern medical facilities.

Interesting fact is that this hospital building was also constructed in the year  1899 by the Scindia dynasty itself. It is said that then there used to be some works related to the princely state of Scindia. But even before India became independent, Jyotiraditya’s grandfather had donated this building to make it the biggest hospital in the region. Since then, not only Gwalior’s but Central India’s largest hospital group has been operating in this building. It is said that in those days  This hospital with 450 beds  became a role model for the country. From kings and emperors of small and big princely states to common people and British officers used to go there for treatment. Due to the facility of rail-bus and airplane from Delhi, Mumbai, Indore and Bhopal, it became the medical hub of Gwalior at that time and since then medical facilities started expanding in the metropolis.

Actually, a woman had reached this hospital newly built by the government on Friday with her elderly father-in-law Shrikrishna Ojha. Ojha is a resident of Bhind and has been living in Gwalior for some time in the state’s Got. Due to falling from the bicycle, the bone of his right leg was broken and he became helpless to walk. The woman took her father-in-law to the hospital to get her father-in-law treated.

In the hospital, the doctors asked the woman to take her father-in-law to the stone building of Jayarogya Hospital, which is also known as the trauma center. The woman asked for a stretcher in the hospital to take her father-in-law, but she could not find any stretcher. The helpless woman kept asking for a stretcher for a long time, but when the stretcher did not work, she used her mind. The woman thought of using a bed sheet as a stretcher and pulled her father-in-law on the bed sheet while pulling him out of the hospital. Took away From there, paying double the money to an auto driver, her father-in-law made her sit in it and she reached the stone building of the hospital.

After getting down from the auto, she again made her father-in-law sit in the sheet and started pulling him inside. At the same time, a person present in the hospital made a video of this whole incident. The same video is now going viral on social media. Seeing this video, while people are praising the understanding of the woman, they are also cursing the Shivraj government for the poor health services in government hospitals.

However, most of the people will ignore it by saying that it is a minor incident that this happens every day in government hospitals of every city. But why does no one gather the courage to ask this direct question that despite such a huge budget for health and all the claims of the government, why does this happen and why strict action is not taken against such culprits? However, Shivraj government seems to be in trouble after the misdeeds of this hospital, which was built at a cost of 400 crores, was exposed. This is because there are assembly elections in November next and before that the main opposition Congress has got a big issue against the BJP.
