Lalit Modi wishes happy birthday to Vijay Mallya
On the occasion of Vijay Mallya’s 69th birthday, former IPL chairman Lalit Modi congratulated him in his post on X and wrote, Happy birthday to my friend Vijay Mallya. He further wrote, there are ups and downs in life, we both have seen this time and this too will pass. May the coming year be your year. And may you be surrounded by love and laughter. Vijay Mallya also thanked Lalit Modi for his congratulatory message through a social media post. He wrote in his post, Thank you my dear friend. An attempt has been made to blame both of us in the country for which we tried to do something.

Vijay Mallya raised questions on charging more loan
Earlier, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s statement in Parliament in which she said that recovery of Rs 14,131.6 crore has been made against the outstanding loan of Rs 6302 crore on Vijay Mallya. After this statement of the Finance Minister, Vijay Mallya wrote in his post that the Debt Recovery Tribunal had ruled that Kingfisher has a debt of Rs 6203 crore, which includes interest of Rs 1200 crore. But the Finance Minister told in Parliament that instead of the loan of Rs 6203 crore, ED and the bank have recovered Rs 14,131.60 crore from me and I still remain an economic offender.

Vijay Mallya said, until ED and banks do not legally justify how they can recover double the outstanding loan, I am entitled to get relief and I will fight for it.
