Pakistan Airlines Plane: There was a stir in India when a Pakistan Airlines plane suddenly entered the Indian airspace. This Pakistani aircraft remained in the Indian airspace for about ten minutes. The army was alerted as soon as the aircraft entered India. However, there was no incident of any kind and this aircraft entered its country after flying 120 kilometers in Punjab, India.
According to media reports, due to heavy rains at Lahore airport in Pakistan, the aircraft could not land, after which the Pakistani aircraft accidentally entered the Indian territory. Local media has said in its report about this incident that when the PK-248 aircraft of Pakistan’s state-owned airline reached Lahore airport for landing at 8 pm on May 4, it was raining heavily there. After this the pilot decided to land it somewhere else.
Why the plane entered the Indian border area
The pilot tried to land the plane at Allama Iqbal International Airport but did not succeed here. After this, the pilot was forced to enter the Indian border area. According to The News report, on the instructions of ATC, the pilot started the go-around approach but the aircraft lost its way amid heavy rain and low altitude. As a result, the aircraft entered the Indian border near Badhana police station in Punjab at 8.11 pm. Badhana is situated at a distance of 37 kilometers from Amritsar. According to the report, the pilots took the plane to a height of 20,000 feet in Indian airspace.
After flying for about ten minutes in the Indian border area, the Pakistani aircraft went back to its border area at 8.22 minutes. At that time the aircraft was at an altitude of 23,000 feet and was flying at a speed of 320 kilometers per hour.
