Why did Sharad Pawar’s candidate take out a victory procession even before the results, know


Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024: Voting was held for the assembly elections in Maharashtra on 20th November, the results of which are going to come on Saturday. Exit polls have predicted that the BJP alliance will get more seats in Maharashtra. On the other hand, the MLA candidate of NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) has taken out a victory procession even before the results. Not only this, supporters have also put up posters regarding his victory.

Actually, this whole matter is of Khadakwasla assembly seat of Pune. From here, NCP (Sharad Pawar) candidate Sachin Dodke expressed his happiness even before the results and took out a victory procession. There was no limit to the joy of the supporters and Sachin Dodke was made to sit on their shoulders. Along with this, a procession was taken out with bands.

Who is contesting on this seat?

Sachin Dodke is contesting against BJP candidate Bhimrao Tapkar and MNS candidate Mayuresh Wanjale in Khadakwala assembly seat. Earlier in the 2019 elections, Sachin Dodke had contested from this seat and lost by just 2500 votes. Although nothing can be said about the results yet, Sachin Dodke has already taken out a victory procession.

According to the ‘Poll of Polls’ data of the exit poll, BJP+ is expected to get a lead of between 139-156 seats in Maharashtra, while the Congress+ alliance may be limited to 119-136 seats. Other parties are expected to get 11-16 seats. 145 seats are required for majority in Maharashtra, but BJP+ looks close to majority.
