Why did serial blasts happen in pagers in Lebanon? Hezbollah issued a statement, know what it said

Lebanon Pager Blast: So far 9 people have died in the serial blasts that took place on Tuesday (17 September) in Lebanon’s capital Beirut. According to Lebanese media reports, about 2800 people have been injured due to the serial blasts in the pagers of Hezbollah fighters and others. Now Hezbollah’s statement has also come out on this matter.

A statement issued by Hezbollah said that a serial blast took place in the pagers used by Hezbollah members and others for communication at around 3:30 pm on Tuesday evening. Hezbollah said that the reason for these mysterious blasts is still not known. However, Hezbollah has confirmed only three deaths in the serial blasts in the pagers.

Teams deployed for investigation

Teams have been deployed by Hezbollah to investigate the serial blasts in pagers. They are investigating on a large scale to find out the reason behind these serial blasts. After the incidents of pager blasts, medical teams have been deployed in the hospital to help the injured.

Iranian ambassador also injured in serial blast

According to information coming from Lebanese media reports, the Health Minister has confirmed the death of 8 people in the Lebanon pager blast. Along with this, it has been said that about 2800 people have been injured and the condition of about 200 of them is critical.

Iran’s news agency has claimed that Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon Mojtaba Amani has been injured in the serial blasts in Pejer. According to a Reuters report, Hezbollah fighters and doctors are among those injured in the serial blasts in Lebanon.

Is Israel behind the Lebanon pager blast?

Hezbollah has blamed Israel for the serial blasts in pagers in Lebanon. Hezbollah has called the serial blasts in pagers the biggest security lapse and said that all the pagers exploded simultaneously. The possibility of a conspiracy cannot be ruled out.

In response to Israel’s attacks in Gaza, Hezbollah is continuously targeting the Israeli Defense Force. In the past few days, Hezbollah has also carried out missile attacks on Israel. When Reuters tried to get a reaction from the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) regarding the Lebanon pager blast, they refused to give a statement.
