Why did security concerns start troubling Israel’s PM Netanyahu? Want to postpone son’s marriage

Israel PM Son Wedding: Israel has taken a stand against many organizations these days. In this war, there were deadly attacks on Israel also. Recently, the private residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was attacked. Keeping all these things in mind, PM Netanyahu wants to postpone the marriage of his son Avner.

According to a report by CAN public broadcaster, Benjamin Netanyahu does not want to hold the wedding of his son Avner on the scheduled date due to security concerns amid a multi-front war and the threat of drones. Avner Netanyahu’s wedding is planned for November 26 at the Ronit Farm in the Sharon region, north of Tel Aviv.

There may be danger for those attending the wedding

CAN public broadcaster quoted Netanyahu as saying that he told his aides that holding the event as planned could be risky for those attending. However, the Prime Minister’s Office did not respond to the report. Earlier this month, a Hezbollah drone attacked the bedroom window of the prime minister’s private residence in Caesarea, causing damage. Netanyahu was not at home at that time.

Israel continues attacking Hezbollah

Israel has launched a large-scale air campaign against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon since last month. This campaign has further increased following the ongoing cross-border war since the beginning of Israel’s brutal attack on Gaza. According to Lebanese health officials, more than 2,700 people have been killed and about 12,500 injured in Israeli attacks since October last year. On October 1 this year, Israel escalated the conflict by infiltrating southern Lebanon.
