Bihar Education Department: With the aim of strengthening the education system of Bihar, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, Dr. S. Siddhartha, is constantly in action. Meanwhile, the Director of Secondary Education, Baidyanath Yadav, has issued a letter to all the District Education Officers instructing them regarding who can be given charge in those secondary and higher secondary schools of Bihar where there are no regular headmasters.
In fact, the District Education Officers (DEOs) of various districts of Bihar were constantly seeking information from the Education Department as to which category of teachers should be declared as in-charge Principals in those secondary and higher secondary schools where there are no regular Principals? The Education Department has now issued a letter on this matter after reviewing it. As soon as this order was issued, all the District Education Officers have started implementing it.
What is written in the letter issued?
According to the order, if in any secondary or higher secondary school, the headmasters of the old pay scale of class 1 to 8 are posted and along with them, teachers appointed by the local bodies and Bihar Public Service Commission are also posted, then in such schools, the headmasters of the old pay scale of class 1 to 8 can be declared the financial in-charge.
If in any secondary or higher secondary school, along with the secondary teacher of the old pay scale, teachers of the local body and teachers appointed by BPSC are posted, then in such schools, the assistant teacher of the old pay scale will be senior. They will also be declared as the in-charge Principal.
If assistant teachers of old pay scale of class 1 to 8 are posted in any school and along with them teachers appointed by local body or BPSC are also posted then in such schools assistant teachers of old pay scale of class 1 to 8 can be declared as financial incharge.
If only teachers appointed through local bodies are posted in a school, then senior teachers appointed by the local body can be declared in-charge in such schools. If only teachers appointed through BPSC are posted in a school, then only teachers appointed by BPSC can be declared in-charge in such schools.
Preference given to BPSC instead of employed teachers

At the same time, it has been clarified in this letter issued by the Education Department that this system will automatically end after the appointment of a regular Principal.
