VK Pandian Attack On BJP: Amidst the excitement of assembly elections in Odisha, VK Pandian has targeted BJP. He said that BJP is eyeing to win 50 to 60 assembly seats. After this he can form the government by breaking Biju Janata Dal (BJD). He further said that BJP had set a target of getting 120 assembly seats in 2014, but it had failed. He does not remember BJP’s strategy in 2019.
Attacking BJP, he said, ‘This time their strategy is to break the BJD party by winning 50 to 60 seats. They are making similar plans as they did in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.
He further said that the people here trust Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, that is why BJP will not be successful this time too. He said that this time BJD will win three-fourth seats in the assembly elections, whereas, Lok Sabha Elections Our seats will also increase.

Former IAS of Odisha VK Pandian joined BJD on 27 November 2023 in the presence of Naveen Patnaik. Tamil Nadu-born former Odisha cadre IAS officer VK Pandian is now the party’s chief campaigner and strategist. He is also being considered as the political successor of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Became cabinet minister just a few hours after VRS
After working with CM Naveen Patnaik for a long time, he had taken voluntary retirement (VRS). Within a few hours after taking VRS, he got the status of Cabinet Minister in the Government of Odisha. Before this, he was working as private secretary to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. He was appointed as the Chairman of 5T Initiative and Naveen Odisha Scheme of the Government of Odisha. They are part of every major decision of the government.
After joining the Chief Minister’s Office as Private Secretary to Naveen Patnaik in 2011, his ability attracted everyone’s attention. He was also chosen as Naveen Patnaik’s ‘backroom boy’ to formulate Naveen’s election strategy for the 2014 and 2019 elections.
