White House Press Secretary: Donald Trump has selected Carolyn Leavitt as his White House press secretary. Caroline, 27, is the youngest person to be appointed to this post. Earlier this record was in the name of Ronald Zegler, who held this post in 1969 at the age of 29 during the Richard Nixon administration.

Caroline Levitt, a resident of New Hampshire, is considered a staunch supporter of Trump. He worked as a spokesperson for MAGA Inc., a super PAC. In 2022, she ran for Congress from New Hampshire and won the Republican primary, but lost to the Democratic candidate.

Caroline’s role in the Trump administration
Caroline worked in the White House Press Office during Trump’s first term. She then worked as communications director for Republican Representative Elise Stefanik of New York. In a press conference held in August, Trump hinted at the regularity of press briefings, saying that the new administration would give journalists “total access” and that press briefings would be more frequent than before.
