PM Modi launched the ‘Subhadra’ scheme of the Odisha government

On the occasion of his birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday (September 17) unveiled railway and national highway projects worth more than Rs 3,800 crore in the state on the occasion of completion of 100 days of the third National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at the center. During this, PM Modi, while addressing a public meeting, also launched the women-centric scheme ‘Subhadra’ of the Odisha government.

First installment released to 10 lakh beneficiaries under PMAY-G

PM Modi said that empowerment of women will be important for the development of the state. On this occasion, Modi released the first installment of assistance to about 10 lakh beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) in 14 states, and also participated in the ‘Griha Pravesh’ programs of 26 lakh beneficiaries of the housing scheme.
