These days the Indian team is present in Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Ravi Shastri is doing commentary in the series. In the middle of this series, Ravi Shastri revealed how he had got Virat Kohli permission from BCCI that he can bring his girlfriend Anushka Sharma with him.
Ravi Shastri said, “When I was the coach in 2015, he (Virat Kohli) was not married. He was dating Anushka Sharma. He came and said that only the wife is allowed to be brought, I am bringing my girlfriend here. I can. He said the board is not giving permission and then he (Anushka Sharma) joined us.”
Ravi Shastri further said that after this Kohli scored 160 runs in the Boxing Day Test and then the flying kiss scene happened.
Kohli scored a century in Perth Test
Let us tell you that the first test of Border-Gavaskar Trophy was played in Perth. Team India won the match and saw a century from the bat of Virat Kohli. In the second innings of Team India, Kohli had scored 100* runs with the help of 8 fours and 2 sixes.
