According to the report, a total of 47,15,906 accounts were banned from March 1 to March 31. Of these, 16,59,385 accounts were removed by WhatsApp on its own without receiving any complaints from users. The report says that in March 2023, WhatsApp received a total of 4,720 complaints based on which action was taken against 585 accounts. WhatsApp said that we take action on all complaints, provided it is not a duplicate of the previous complaint. Based on the complaint, an account is banned or a previously banned account is reinstated.
