Some media reports have claimed that Nimisha’s business partner came to Kerala and since then he started misusing Nimisha’s photographs and claiming to be her husband.

Nimisha protested against this and also complained. But the civil war that started in Yemen in 2014-15 worsened the situation there, after which Nimisha was never able to return to India. Meanwhile, in Yemen, Nimisha is accused of murdering Mahdi and is imprisoned and in the year 2020, she has been sentenced to death.

Blood money can save Nimisha’s life
Nimisha and her family now have only one option left and that is blood money. Sharia law prevails in Yemen, in such a situation if the victim’s family forgives Nimisha, then Nimisha can be saved. Blood money is the financial assistance given to a victim’s family. Talks are still going on to give money to the victim’s family in the form of blood money, for this Nimisha’s family is in touch through a lawyer from Yemen. Now it remains to be seen whether things will be resolved with blood money and Nimisha Priya’s life can be saved. Nimisha’s family and lawyers are actively engaged in this campaign and there is very little time left.
