Why was the movement postponed?
Protesting wrestlers Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik had asked to postpone the protest till June 15 after assurance from Sports Minister Anurag Thakur. After a meeting with the players, he had told that by June 15, the charge sheet would be filed against Brij Bhushan Singh.

Thakur had told that apart from this, it was agreed to hold the WFI elections by June 30 and constitute an internal complaints committee of the WFI.
