Top leaders did not campaign
AAP’s top leaders did not campaign in Karnataka before the elections, which is believed to be one of the reasons behind the party’s current performance in the state. On May 7, AAP’s Karnataka unit president Prithvi Reddy spoke about party chief Arvind Kejriwal feeling shortchanged in the elections. He had said that Kejriwal’s primary responsibility is to ensure that the people of Delhi do not suffer as two senior party leaders have been arrested by central agencies. Please tell that this was the first election of the Aam Aadmi Party after getting the status as a national party.
