BJP leader advised to apologize to Bishnoi community

However, the police is investigating the involvement of Lawrence Bishnoi in this murder. After the murder of Baba Siddiqui, BJP leader Harnath Singh Yadav had advised Salman Khan to apologize to the Bishnoi community. Salman Khan is accused of hunting two black bucks during the shooting of the film Hum Saath Saath Hain. The blackbuck is sacred to the Bishnoi sect and the incident had sparked widespread outrage.

Strict rules for forgiveness in Bishnoi community

The Bishnoi community says Salman Khan has committed a crime and should apologize while following the strict rules of the community, which were laid down by Guru Jambheshwar, the 16th century founder of the Bishnoi community. Hanuman Ram Bishnoi, secretary of All India Bishnoi Samaj, said that according to the beliefs of the community, if a person commits a crime, he should repent, after which he should atone.

He said that to apologize, Mukti Dham in Bikaner, Rajasthan is needed, which is the last resting place of Guru Jambheshwar and the most important religious place of the community. According to India Today report, Hanuman Ram Bishnoi said, Salman Khan snatched away two beautiful lives. When someone commits a crime, he should have a feeling of remorse. There must be a genuine desire to apologize.

Salman Khan deserves punishment- Devendra Bishnoi

Once an apology is made, the decision to accept or reject it entirely depends on the community. Bishnoi Samaj has more than 70 lakh members across the world. Unless Salman Khan apologizes, he will deserve punishment.

Bishnoi Samaj President Devendra Bishnoi also expressed the same opinion and said, “If there is an apology proposal from Salman, we will put it before the society. Salman Khan was convicted by the trial court in the black buck hunting case in 2018. , after which Lawrence Bishnoi vowed to take revenge from Salman Khan has since appealed against the sentence and the case is currently pending in the Rajasthan High Court.
