Ajit Doval: Indian National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval will visit China on December 17 to discuss LAC and other bilateral issues. During this time he will remain in China for 2 to 3 days.
During this time he may meet China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi. According to the information, this meeting will be held as special representative talks to find a solution on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) between India and China.
Know what is the purpose of this journey
The objective of this visit is to find a solution after the successful disengagement of the armies of both the countries from Demchok and Depsang areas in eastern Ladakh. This will be the first special representative talks after the Galwan conflict. The last similar meeting was held five years ago in December 2019.
There can also be talk on creating a buffer zone
According to the reports till date, possibilities for further talks will be explored in this talk. During this time there can also be talk on creating a buffer zone. After which a meeting at the Corps Commander level can be held. In this, both the countries can talk about greater stability and clarity of the situation on the border.
This dialogue will be held with mutual consent during the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination (WMCC) meeting. Both countries are currently searching for a permanent solution because bilateral relations between the two countries have deteriorated significantly due to tension on LAC.
