BPSC has released recruitment for 2027 posts.
For the first time, BPSC has released vacancies for 2027 posts in 27 departments for the combined competitive examination in October 2024. For which 4.80 lakh candidates had applied. The examination was conducted on 13 December. 3.25 lakh candidates appeared in this examination. For the examination, 912 centers were made in 36 districts and 65 centers were made in Patna alone.
There was a center for about 12,000 candidates in the Bapu examination complex in Patna, where about two and a half thousand candidates could not appear for the examination. Due to which controversy broke out. The candidates created a ruckus outside the centre. Students alleged that the paper was received late and leaked. The allegations of the candidates in BPSC and Patna District Administration were termed as baseless. A case was also registered against more than 60 candidates for creating ruckus.
Bapu Center exam canceled on 16th December
Due to the uproar, BPSC canceled the examination of the students of Bapu Examination Complex on 16 December. After this, the date of re-exam has been announced on 19th December.
