The 14th day of Mahabharata was the most disastrous. To avenge his son, Arjun himself killed seven Akshainis of the Kaurava army. Drona and other Kauravas pale in front of Arjuna’s killing. At the same time, Jayadrath was also killed by Arjuna due to Krishna’s trick.

- When Yudhishthira told Dronacharya that ‘Ashwatthama was killed, but the elephant.’ Shri Krishna blew the conch shell at the same time due to which Guru Dronacharya could not hear the last word ‘elephant’. Immersed in grief, Dronacharya fell on the ground leaving his weapon and at the same time Draupadi’s brother Dhrishtadyumna killed him with a sword.

On the 16th day of the Mahabharata war, when Bhima’s son Ghatotkacha started to overpower the Kaurava army. Duryodhana asked Karna to use the Divyastra given by Indra to kill Ghatotkacha, which Karna had saved to kill Arjuna. Karna was forced to use that infallible weapon of Indra on Ghatotkacha and killed him. On the same day, Bhima killed Dushasan and by tearing his chest fulfilled the promise of washing Draupadi’s hair with blood.
