It seems that he did this because of the feeling of oppression he was getting from the system. “So this was their way of telling the system that it is not helping men and that there is a lot of bias in it.”

‘Atul’s wife had become corona infected’

Atul’s friend further said, “During the time of Covid, he was taking care of his wife and child. His wife was also infected with Covid and had many problems. So he went to buy medicines for his wife and she was not taking them on time, which caused some friction and created many problems and then she left him with the child and he was not able to see his son. Recently I came to know something special from him that he has got a maintenance order of Rs 40,000 per month for his 4-5 year old son.”
