Kharge Attack Amit Shah in Rajya Sabha: In the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday (December 17, 2024), Union Home Minister Amit Shah was speaking about quorum, how less people used to come to the House, but right after that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge got angry and lashed out at Amit Shah. Kharge called Amit Shah a coward. He told Amit Shah that ‘you are a coward’. After this Amit Shah said that if Kharge Saheb has done it then we will have to listen with courage.
After Mallikarjun Kharge called the Union Home Minister a coward. Amit Shah Said, “Kharge ji, I respect you a lot. Let me speak.” He said, “I cannot bring these four amendments from my party’s office. These four amendments were made in the Constitution, some were repealed by the court, some were repealed by the Janata Party government and some remained.
What did Amit Shah say about the intentions of Congress?
Amit Shah said that all four amendments are reality. These four amendments show what the intention of the Congress is to amend the Constitution. The first amendment is that a case should be filed against them, the second is that it should extend the time for those who lose the elections, the third is that they cannot be investigated and the fourth is that it says that it abolishes the rights granted by the Constitution to the citizens. These explain the objectives of the amendment.
After this, Amit Shah also told about the four amendment bills of BJP.
1- Amit Shah first enumerated the amendments of GST and said that the task is to bring one law by abolishing hundred sales laws. Narendra Modi Did it, which was for the welfare of the people.
2- After this, Amit Shah enumerated the 102nd amendment, which was done to give constitutional status to the National Commission of Backward Classes. He said, “If the Congress government had done this, the BJP would not have got a chance. He said that the Congress never believed in the welfare of the backward castes.”
3- Amit Shah also mentioned the 103rd amendment, which was done to give 10 percent reservation to poor children who were not getting reservation. Shah said that Congress kept giving the slogan of eradicating poverty for years, but was never able to eliminate it.
4- After this, Amit Shah told about the 105th amendment, which was done to give identity to OBCs. Because after independence, only the central government had the right to do so.
