West Indies players dominated the mega auction, 11 Caribbeans sold for 54.20 crores

IPL Mega Auction 2022, West Indies Players: The players of West Indies dominated the Mega Auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL). A total of 11 Windies players have been sold in the auction so far. There three players remained unsold. Know which player was bought by which team.

These West Indies players were sold-

1- Shimron Hetmyer – Rs 8.50 crore Rajasthan Royals

2- Dwayne Bravo – Rs 4.40 crore Chennai Super Kings

3- Jason Holder – Rs 8.75 crore Lucknow

4- Nicholas Pooran – Rs 10.75 crore Sunrisers Hyderabad

5- Dominic Drake- (Dominic Drakes)- Rs 1.10 crore Gujarat

6- Rovman Powell- Rs 2.80 crore Delhi Capitals

7- Romario Shepherd – Rs 7.75 crore Sunrisers Hyderabad

8- Obed McCoy- Rs 75 lakh Rajasthan Royals

9- Odeon Smith – Rs 6 crore Punjab Kings

10- Alzarri Joseph – Rs 2.40 crore Gujarat Titans

11- Sherfane Rutherford- Rs 1 crore RCB

These foreign uncapped players were sold in the auction-

Among the foreign uncapped players, 18-year-old South African explosive batsman Dewald Brevis was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 3 crore. At the same time, Tim David, who has played international cricket for Singapore, but he gave his name in the list of uncapped players in the auction.

David was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 8.25 crore. He was earlier part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in IPL 2021. On the other hand, young Afghanistan spinner Noor Ahmed was bought by Jujrat Titans for his base price of Rs 30 lakh.
