He said that there is a possibility of rain and hailstorm in the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh during this period. The Meteorological Center has also issued an alert for lightning. Dr. Surendra Paul told that even at present the temperature is being recorded up to four degrees above normal. This temperature will further decrease in the coming days. Due to this, the cold will increase in the high altitude areas of the state and there will be relief from the heat in the plains.
Farmer-gardener upset due to unseasonal rain
Compared to normal years, this time the Western Disturbance is more active. Due to the active Western Disturbance, there is continuous rain and hailstorm. After two to four days of sunshine, the temperature seems to be under control due to rain. However, due to unseasonal rains, crops are suffering a lot. Due to the rains in the past, there was heavy damage to the crops. Due to this, the gardeners and farmers of Himachal Pradesh are very upset. The coming 72 hours are also going to be full of trouble for the farmers. The Meteorological Center Shimla has also appealed to the local people and tourists not to go near rivers and drains.
