‘We will not let all this happen’, this party of Bihar requested to stop the land survey immediately

Dipankar Bhattacharya News: The Communist Party of India on Saturday termed the ongoing land survey in Bihar as an attempt to evict the poor from their lands and requested Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to stop it immediately. The party, which is part of the grand alliance of opposition parties in Bihar, announced that it will launch ‘Badlo Bihar Nyay Yatra’ campaign across the state between October 16 and 25 against the alleged failures of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government on several fronts.

The party has two Lok Sabha members in Bihar. Speaking to reporters, CPI (ML) Liberation general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya said, “It is a fact that Nitish Kumar’s government has started a land survey in Bihar to evict the poor from their lands. The state government has been following its policy for generations. “It is targeting the poor people living on the land.”

He said that we urge the state government to stop it immediately and next time whenever the government plans to start it, it will have to first guarantee the poor that they will be given lands after the completion of this exercise. Bhattacharya said that similarly, installing smart prepaid electricity meters is another attempt of the government to extort money from the poor. This is completely unfair. Electricity bills have increased manifold, causing huge financial burden on consumers. We will not let all this happen.

He said that keeping all these issues in mind, CPI (ML) Liberation has decided to launch a statewide campaign ‘Badlo Bihar Nyay Yatra’ from 16 to 25 October against the failure of the NDA government on many fronts in Bihar. He said that finally the party will organize ‘Nyaya Sammelan’ in Patna on October 27 to highlight the failures of the Nitish Kumar government.
