We are ready to make sacrifices… TMC leader after High Court’s direction regarding panchayat elections


West Bengal Panchayat Elections: Just before the Panchayat elections in West Bengal, the atmosphere is continuously deteriorating. During the nomination, there are continuous reports of violence and firing is going on openly. Recently three people were shot dead during nomination. Meanwhile, the State Election Commission was instructed by the Calcutta High Court to seek the help of central paramilitary forces. After the instructions regarding the deployment of central forces, now politics has started regarding this. TMC leader Madan Mitra said that our party will face every difficulty and is also ready to bear the torture of the central forces.

West Bengal is not getting money – TMC leader
Trinamool Congress leader Mitra also raised questions about the money spent on the deployment of central security forces during this period, saying that West Bengal is not getting a single penny from the Center for development works. He said, “The people of West Bengal are with Mamta Banerjee. I do not know how many thousands of crores will be spent on these central forces, but not a single penny is being received for the development of West Bengal. This is the court’s decision, Everyone has to accept it. But it is wrong to forget that people will decide and vote.”

TMC leader Madan Mitra further said that we are ready to give our blood and sacrifice, but we will fight our battle. Even if we have to give our lives, we will ensure that TMC wins…we are ready for the torture of central forces.

Fierce violence in West Bengal
As soon as the campaign for the panchayat elections started, news of violence started surfacing from all over West Bengal. Thursday, June 15, was the last day for filing nominations, most of the violence was witnessed on this day. Violence and arson broke out in several areas of the state, in which three people were shot dead while several others were injured. The police had to face a lot of difficulties in controlling the situation. Regarding this violence, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee accused the opposition and said that an attempt is being made to defame the state by carrying out the violence. Mamta said that her party workers had no role in the incidents of violence. At the same time, all the opposition parties, including the BJP, fiercely surrounded the Mamata government regarding the violence.
