Kohli’s dismissal also became a cause of controversy because when his catch bounced in the air, Kohli was standing outside the crease. Looking at the graphics, commentators also claimed that if Kohli had not come outside the crease, the ball would have remained below the height prescribed for no-ball. Despite this, when the TV umpire announced the decision, Kohli still walked towards the dugout shaking his head.
