Virat Kohli will score a triple century, can create history against Pakistan in Champions Trophy

ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule India: ICC has released the schedule of Champions Trophy 2025. The Indian team will start its campaign with a match against Bangladesh on 20 February. One aspect of making the Champions Trophy memorable will be that Team India’s matches will be played in Dubai, while all other teams will play matches in Pakistan. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is about to complete a triple century in ODI matches in his career.

Virat Kohli’s triple century

Virat Kohli played his first international match for India in 2008 against Sri Lanka. After that, within 16 years, he has scored 13,905 runs in 295 ODI matches. He will touch the figure of 300 in ODI matches after playing 5 matches. The Indian cricket team has to play a series of 3 ODI matches against England before the Champions Trophy. If Kohli plays against England, his number of ODI matches would have reached 298. Team India’s first match in the Champions Trophy will be against Bangladesh, so Kohli will play the 300th match of his ODI career against Pakistan on 23 February.

If we look at his ODI career, Kohli has so far scored 13,906 runs in 295 matches. He is the third highest run scorer in the history of ODI cricket. During this period, he has become the player who has scored the most centuries in the 50-over format. Kohli currently has 50 ODI centuries to his name, he has already broken Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 centuries.

Talking about the Champions Trophy, the Indian team has been placed in Group A along with Bangladesh, New Zealand and Pakistan. All the matches of Team India will be played in Dubai International Stadium. If India reaches the final of the tournament then the final will be played in Dubai instead of Lahore.
