• On this day, take bath early in the morning and chant the name of Shri Hari.
• Install the idol of Lord Vishnu.
• Offer roli, moli, yellow sandalwood, Akshat, yellow flowers, seasonal fruits, sweets etc. to Lord Vishnu carrying conch, chakra, lotus, mace and pitambar and perform aarti with incense and lamp and donate the lamp.
• One should keep chanting Shri Vishnu’s mantra ‘Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevay’.
• Reciting Vishnu Sahastranam on this day is very fruitful.
• Devotees should stay away from feelings of slander, deceit, greed and hatred.
• On the day of Dwadashi, after serving food to the Brahmins, eat the food yourself and break the fast.

Varuthini Ekadashi 2024 Vrat Paran

Ending the fast of Ekadashi is called Paran. Ekadashi fast is broken the next day. It is very important to break Ekadashi fast before the end of Dwadashi Tithi. Ekadashi fast is broken only after sunrise. It is important to break the fast with complete rituals.
