Maharashtra Politics: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray has given advice to BJP as well as Congress regarding the issue of Veer Savarkar and Jawahar Lal Nehru. Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aditya said on Saturday (December 14) that Congress and BJP should stop using Jawaharlal Nehru or Vinayak Damodar Savarkar for their politics.
According to the PTI report, he said, “Congress and BJP should stop blaming Jawaharlal Nehru or Vinayak Damodar Savarkar for their politics and instead talk about the future.”

When asked about opposition leader Rahul Gandhi’s criticism of Veer Savarkar in the Lok Sabha, Uddhav Thackeray said, “The discussion on the Constitution should be focused on the future of the country.” He said, “You (Congress leader) ) You must have heard Priyanka ji (saying) that for how long will you keep quoting Nehru. I agree with them. Both Congress and BJP are national parties and they should not go into the past, into history. They should talk about the future of the country.”

What did Rahul Gandhi say in Lok Sabha?
In the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi claimed that Hindutva thinker Vinayak Damodar Savarkar had said about the Constitution that there is nothing Indian in it. The Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha on Saturday made a sharp attack on the government in the House and alleged that just as Eklavya’s thumb was cut, in the same way the thumb of the youth of the country is being cut today.
