Marsha Blackburn Taiwan Visit: Marsha Blackburn, a member of the US Senate Arms Committee and Senator from Tennessee of the Republican Party, arrived in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, late at night. This is the fourth visit by an American politician to Taiwan in a month. Marsha Blackburn is leading the US delegation that has arrived in Taiwan.
The US delegation has reached Taiwan at a time when China is deeply angry and is conducting military exercises around the island country. During the visit of US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, China had warned America to stay away from Taiwan and threatened to face consequences if it did not comply. Shortly after Pelosi stepped into Taiwan, China announced military exercises and conducted aggressive maneuvers around Taiwan.
Marsha’s warning to China from Taipei
Marsha Blackburn tweeted as soon as she arrived in Taipei, “Just landed in Taiwan to send a message to Beijing that we cannot be bullied. America is determined to uphold freedom around the world and will not tolerate attempts to undermine our nation and our allies.

In another tweet, Marsha Blackburn wrote, “It is time we focus on rewarding Taiwan’s commitment to democratic values and ensuring it has the resources it needs to counter Communist China and its new axis of evil.” Huh. That’s why I am in Taiwan.” She said that she would never bow down to the Communist Party of China.
“Don’t scare me Jinping”
Marsha said, “I will stand by Taiwan and its right to freedom and democracy. I am not afraid of Xi Jinping.” Marsha thanked Taiwanese President Tsi Ing Wen for inviting her. At the same time, Taiwan said on the US Senator’s visit, “This visit confirms the Senator’s solid support to Taiwan amid regional tensions.” We wish him a pleasant 3-day stay in furtherance of bilateral relations and Indo-Pacific security.
On the delegation’s arrival in Taiwan, the US State Department said, “Members of Congress and elected officials have been to Taiwan for years and will continue to do so and this is in line with and consistent with our long-standing ‘One China’ policy.” The US State Department said, “The United States continues to act in a responsible, stable and resolute manner. At the administrative level, our policy towards Taiwan has remained the same for decades and we remain committed to our ‘One China’ policy. We will continue to take calm and firm steps to maintain peace and stability in the region and to support Taiwan in line with our long-standing policy.”
