Delhi MCD Budget Session: It was the second day of discussion on the budget in Delhi MCD on Wednesday (March 29). Earlier on Tuesday (March 28), the budget session lasted only for 10 minutes. In this everyone was given a copy of the budget and asked to read it. With this, the House was adjourned for 1 day.
When the budget session started on Wednesday, some people from both the ruling party and the opposition were asked to discuss the budget. In this, councilors from both the ruling party and the opposition got a chance. Aam Aadmi Party councilors thanked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal before and after the discussion on the budget, but when it was the turn of the opposition, it raised slogans of Modi-Modi.

Amidst the ruckus of the budget session, slogans of Modi and Kejriwal started in the House. There was a lot of hue and cry from both the sides and there was a lot of hue and cry over the budget as well. It increased so much that later the mayor had to pacify everyone. The budget session of MCD was completed today and all the proposals of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi budget were passed by voting. This was the first budget session after the integration of MCD. In this there was discussion on sealing the shops and issuing notices and there was talk of giving relief to the traders as soon as possible. Sealing has been a huge issue in Delhi. On this occasion, the proposal to seal the sealed shops was also discussed. It was passed so that traders can get relief.
