UP Yoddha defeated Puneri Paltan 42-31 in the first eliminator of Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 at Sheraton Grand Whitefield in Bengaluru on Monday. With this victory, where UP Yoddha has reached the semi-finals, then this season’s journey of Paltan has come to an end. Now UP Yoddha will face Patna Pirates in the first semi-final on 23rd February.
In the beginning of this match, Paltan showed a good game but Pardeep turned the dice of the match with two super raids. Pardeep Narwal scored 18 points, which is his best performance this season, so the captain of Puneri Paltan could not even open the account. Aslam Inamdar completed his Super 10 but could not continue the team’s journey.

UP Yoddha won the toss and invited Puneri Paltan to raid first. Palnut got off to a good start and took a 4-0 lead. Pardeep Narwal, the greatest warrior of the warriors, did two super raids in the first half, while in a super raid, the entire platoon was dismissed and gave the team two bonus points of All Out. In the first half, where Pardeep and Surender Gill were scoring points in the raid, Sumit Sangwan and Nitesh Kumar were wreaking havoc on the defenders of the platoon.

Aslam definitely took the first point of the second half but Pardeep made the third super raid of the match all out to Paltan. Sumit and Nitesh were constantly making tremendous tackles. Akash Shinde made a comeback attempt on behalf of Paltan and scored five points in 5 consecutive raids.
Pardeep almost confirmed his place in the semi-finals by dismissing Sombir and Mohit in the same raid. Although Aslam completed his Super 10, Paltan was out of the tournament after losing this match 31-42. Pardeep Narwal gave the best performance of the season in this match, while on the other hand the captain of Paltan’s team could not score a single point in the entire match.
