India Weather Forecast: Due to heavy rain in many parts of the country, people are suffering. Meanwhile, according to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the process of rain is expected to continue in many states even today. While issuing an alert, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rain in some states of the country. During the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of rain in some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam, Sikkim, Northeast Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
A yellow alert has been issued for rain and thundershowers in eastern Uttar Pradesh till September 3. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Madhya Maharashtra and Coastal Karnataka.

During the next 24 hours, heavy rain is very likely at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, parts of Bihar, Northeast Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Karnataka. Andaman and Nicobar Islands and South Interior Karnataka may experience light to moderate rain with heavy to very heavy falls at a few places.
Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells may occur over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Kerala.
How will the weather be in Bihar and Jharkhand?
Light to moderate rain over Northeast India, Gangetic West Bengal, remaining parts of Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, North Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Uttarakhand and parts of Konkan and Goa can. On September 1, there is a forecast of rain in southern Madhya Pradesh, while on September 1 and 2 in Bihar.

Light rain is possible over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, parts of Gujarat and East Rajasthan. There is a possibility of light rain in Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Konkan and Goa and South Gujarat. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light rain at one or two places in North Punjab, North Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh.
