Samosa Controversy in Himachal Pradesh: The number of people who like the taste of samosas across the country is in crores. Especially people eat samosa with great fondness with tea and in parties. There is a lot of craze for samosas among the people, but even more craze for samosas is seen among the politicians in Himachal Pradesh.
Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha took out a unique march in Shimla on Saturday. This march has been named ‘Samosa March’. Now this unique march is being discussed across the country. Actually, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha took out this unique samosa march to corner the government led by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu.
Why was the Samosa March taken out?
President of Himachal unit of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Tilak Raj said that today the samosas of Himachal Pradesh are being discussed across the country. There are many serious issues in the small hill state of Himachal, but the state CID is investigating the Chief Minister’s missing samosas. He said that today the situation of the state has become very unfortunate. Every section of the state is suffering.
There is a lot of corruption and patronage in the state, but the CID is ignoring all these serious issues and investigating the disappearance of samosas. The biggest misfortune is that Congress leaders are calling it the politics of Bharatiya Janata Party, whereas this issue was not brought by BJP but has come to light through the unique investigation of CID itself. Common people are not able to stop laughing after reading the CID report and are also cursing the fate of their state.
Common people are wondering what kind of government has come to the state, which cares about samosas instead of public issues. Tilak Raj said that the state government and the state CID need to focus on serious issues of the state and not on samosas.
What is the whole matter?
Himachal CID conducted a unique investigation, the report of which was leaked on Thursday evening. The snacks ordered from a private hotel in Shimla for the program of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu were served by the CID to someone else. On October 21, samosas and cakes were ordered for the Chief Minister from a well-known hotel, but instead of serving them to him, these snacks were served to someone else.
Till now everything was fine, but the strange thing is that CID also investigated it. Statements of many police officers and employees were recorded in this case. After investigation on samosas, DSP sent this report to the Inspector General of Intelligence Department. When this report went viral on social media, the state government and the state intelligence department were deeply embarrassed by it.
CID’s clarification after ‘fight’ over samosas
On Friday evening, a press release was issued by the Himachal Pradesh State Intelligence Department and a clarification was also given. In the press note issued by the State Intelligence Department, it has been told that on October 21, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh had visited the department office for the inauguration of 1930 Helpline Data Center and a meeting with senior officials of the Intelligence Department.
After its inauguration and meeting with officials, a briefing session was held at the office of the Director General of Police, State Intelligence Department, about the tour.
Was asked to find missing things – Ojha
During this session, an officer drew attention towards the management of refreshments, especially the Tourism Corporation and the food items brought from outside. After this it came to notice that some food items were not served to the Chief Minister. On this, Director General of Police, Intelligence Department, Sanjeev Ranjan Ojha wanted to find out how that food item disappeared from the food list.
The Intelligence Department says that this is an internal matter of Himachal Pradesh CID and the CID department is a disciplined organization. CID has said that the state government has nothing to do with this entire matter.
