There has been a huge controversy over Uddhav Thackeray group MP Arvind Sawant’s statement on ‘imported goods’. Shiv Sena candidate from Mumbadevi, Shaina NC, has lodged an FIR against Sawant. Meanwhile, he clarified that he did not use this word for Shaina NC.
Arvind Sawant clarified that Shaina is a friend whom he respects. He said, "I never took his name. I just said that those who are outsiders cannot work here. They have a habit of creating ruckus."
The Shiv Sena (UBT) MP said that he has been in politics for 55 years and has always respected women. He alleged that his opponents are trying to tarnish his reputation.
