Manini further said, ‘It was a heart touching moment when we met Aishwarya Rai on the sets of ‘Drona’ many years after the competition. We left for Goa just to have fun, and when we reached there, we saw Aishwarya Rai and told ourselves that we are crazy to compete with her. She was very sweet, she was not only beautiful but also very good natured. I had won the Miss Congeniality contest at that time and she came to me and said that she voted for me because I was really the sweetest.

Manini further said, ‘There was no enmity between Aishwarya and Sushmita. All this was created by the media of its own accord. There was nothing like that between them. Both used to talk to each other often. To my knowledge, there has been no such competition between the two.
