Before playing for Hyderabad, Trevid Head was a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2016 and 2017. He did not get many chances for RCB. Let us tell you that Head was a part of RCB for two years (2016 and 2017). However, he got to play only 10 matches in two years. Batting in 10 matches, Head scored 205 runs at an average of 29.29 and strike rate of 138.51, in which his high score was 75* runs. After 2017, Head was no longer a part of IPL.

After this, in the mini auction held for IPL 2024, Head was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 6.80 crore. The Australian batsman proved to be very successful for Hyderabad this season. Head took the responsibility of opening for Hyderabad. He proved to be a successful opener for the team.
