Jaypee Infratech Private Limited has given a proposal to increase the rates on Yamuna Expressway to Yamuna Authority. Under the increased rates, now those traveling from Greater Noida to Agra by car will have to pay Rs 437 for 165 km and it will be one-way, apart from this, the toll for light goods vehicles and very heavy vehicles has also been increased. At the same time, relief has been given to two wheeler, three wheeler in the new toll rate and their tolls have not been increased, while the tolls of registered tractors of farmers will not be increased.
What will be the new toll rate?
Actually for two wheeler under the new toll rate where Earlier, ₹ 205 had to be paid, then under the new toll, it is still going to be only ₹ 205, those who drive the same car jeeps earlier had to pay ₹ 415, it has been increased to ₹ 437. Apart from this, the toll for light goods vehicles has been increased from ₹ 635 to ₹ 684. The toll of the vehicle which will be six axle has been increased from Rs 1295 to Rs 1394. The toll for the same very heavy vehicles has been increased from Rs 2250 to Rs 2739.

CEO of Yamuna Authority regarding increase in toll Dr. Arunveer Singh said that Jaypee Infratech Private Limited has done a lot of work for the safety of the people on the expressway, meanwhile the company has increased this toll rate under the new financial year. The company had written a letter to the Yamuna Authority on February 28 this year to increase the toll. The company had told in this that they have done a lot of work on road safety and have spent about 130.54 crores in it.
