UP IPS Transfer News:The Uttar Pradesh government has made major changes in the police administration before Christmas and New Year. Yogi government on Sunday (22 December) transferred police officers of 15 districts including Jaunpur, Bahraich and Shravasti.
In the order issued late Saturday evening by the UP government, Deputy Commissioners of Police of 4 districts have been transferred and promoted. Similarly, 2013 batch IPS officer Dr. Abhishek Mahajan has returned from deputation and was made the new Superintendent of Police of Siddharthnagar.
This transfer is considered important in view of many important festivals and Mahakumbh in the coming days. According to the order issued, Jaunpur Superintendent of Police Dr. Ajay Pal has been transferred to Prayagraj Commissionerate. Dr. Ajay Pal has been made the Additional Police Commissioner in-charge of Prayagraj Commissionerate. Similarly, Dr. Kaustubh has been made the new Superintendent of Police of Jaunpur, he was currently serving on the post of Ambedkar SP.
SPs of these districts changed
Similarly, Deputy Commissioner of Police of Lucknow Commissionerate Keshav Kumar has been made the new Superintendent of Police of Ambedkar Nagar. Aparna Rajat Kaushik has been removed from the post of Kasganj SP and has been made the SP of Amethi. Kanpur Municipal Commissionerate’s Deputy Commissioner of Police Ankita Sharma has been promoted to the post of Superintendent of Police of Kasganj.
Anoop Kumar Singh has been removed from the post of Amethi SP and given the responsibility of Commander in 35th Corps PAC, Lucknow. Lucknow Commissionerate’s Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. Omveer Singh has been made the SP of Ballia, while current Ballia SP Vikrant Veer has been made the SP of Deoria.
Bahraich SP transferred
Bahraich SP Vrinda Shukla’s name is also included in the transfer list released by Yogi government, she has been made SP in Women and Child Protection Organization (1090). In his place, Lucknow Commissionerate Police Deputy Commissioner Ram Nayan Singh has been given the responsibility of SP of Bahraich district. This transfer is being considered very important after the recent violence in Bahraich.
Similarly, Chiranjeev Nath Singha has been made the new SP of Hathras from the post of Barabanki SP. In this sequence, Siddharthnagar SP Prachi Singh has been made the commander of Lucknow 32nd Corps. Deoria SP Sankalp Sharma has been made the new Deputy Commissioner of Police of Lucknow Commissionerate, while IPS Nipun Aggarwal has been removed from the post of Hathras SP and sent to Lucknow Commissionerate.
