Traffic advisory issued regarding demolition of twin tower, read- complete details of diversion route


Supertech Twin Towers Demolition: Supertech Twin Towers built in Noida Sector 93A will be demolished on August 28. Before this, all the departments and responsibilities related to Twin Towers are busy in their respective preparations. Along with the other preparations going on for the demolition of the tower, a complete plan for traffic diversion has also been made. An advisory has been issued by the Commissionerate of Police, Gautam Buddha Nagar regarding diversion. So that the common man does not have to face any kind of trouble on that day. People have been advised to use alternate routes.

According to the Media Cell, Commissionerate of Police, tower T-16 and T-17 will be demolished on August 28 at 2:30. In such a situation, arrangements will be made for contingency routes with restrictions, diversion and parking on some routes. On the other hand, a ban has been imposed on flying drones from August 26 to August 31 due to the collapse of the twin towers in Noida. Drone operation has been prohibited under Section 144. If anyone does so, it will be a punishable offence.

Know- Complete Traffic Plan
Totally Restricted Roads (Till 7 AM on 28th Aug)

  1. Route from ATS Tiraha to Gejha Phaldhsabji Mandi Tiraha.
  2. Double road and service road from Eldeco Chowk to Sector 108.
  3. Double route from Shramik Kunj Chowk to Sector 92 Ratiram Chowk.
  4. Faridabad Flyover from Shramik Kunj Chowk to Sector 132.
  5. Faridabad Flyover from Sector 128 to Shramik Kunj Chowk.

Traffic diversion on Noida, Greater Noida Expressway for some time during the safe demolition of the tower (from 2:15 hrs on August 28 till normalcy)

  1. Traffic going from Noida to Greater Noida/Yamuna Expressway will be diverted from Mahamaya flyover towards Sector 37. This traffic will go towards the destination via City Centre, Sector 71.
  2. Traffic going from Noida to Greater Noida/Yamuna Expressway will be diverted from Filmcity flyover towards elevated road. This traffic will go towards the destination via elevated road, Sector 60, Sector 71.
  3. The traffic going from Noida to Greater Noida/Yamuna Expressway will be completely closed on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and service road in front of Sector 82 cut before Faridabad flyover. This traffic will go towards the destination via Gezha Tiraha, Phase-2.
  4. Traffic going from Greater Noida to Noida/Delhi will be diverted from Pari Chowk towards Surajpur. The traffic will go towards the destination via Surajpur, Yamaha, Phase-2 or Bisrakh, Kisan Chowk.
  5. Traffic going from Yamuna Expressway/Greater Noida to Noida/Delhi will be diverted from Zero Point on top of Yamuna Expressway towards Pari Chowk.
  6. Traffic going from Yamuna Expressway/Greater Noida to Noida/Delhi will be completely closed in front of Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Service Road Sector 132. The traffic will move from inside Sector 132 towards the destination via Pusta Road.

other diversion routes

  1. On behalf of NSEZ, traffic going from Eldico Chowk to Sector 108 will be diverted from Aldico Chowk to Panchsheel Underpass and sent towards the destination.
  2. The traffic going from Sector 92 Chowk to Shramik Kunj coming from NSEZ, Sector 83 will be diverted from Aldico Chowk to Panchsheel Underpass and sent to the destination.
  3. The traffic coming from Sector 105 towards Shramik Kunj Sector 93 Chowk to Sector 92 will be diverted from Sector 108 Chowk towards Gejha Tiraha and sent to the destination.
  4. Traffic going from Hajipur, Sector 105, 108 to Eldico Chowk towards Sector 83, NSEZ Phase-2 will be diverted from Sector 105 and Sector 108 Chowk to Gejha Tiraha towards the destination.
  5. The traffic going from Sector 82, Shramik Kunj to Sector 132 using the Faridabad flyover will be diverted from Sector 108 U-turn to Sector 108, 105 and sent to the destination.
  6. The traffic coming from Sector 132 towards Sector 82 using Faridabad flyover will be diverted towards Sector 128 before the flyover and sent to the destination.

Parking will be like this

  1. Parking of vehicles of media brothers will be at the corner of Shramik Kunj Red Light on the ground and parking of vehicles of media brothers at the level of Faridabad Flyover Loop descending from Sector 128 to 93, under OV Van Parking Faridabad Flyover and towards Sector 108.
  2. Vehicles of police/administrative officers will be in the parking lot of the glass building on Sector 132 Service Road.
  3. Reserve/emergency parking will be in the vacant ground near Sector 108.
  4. Fire service / ambulance vehicle will be at Sector 93, Eldeco Chowk and Shramik Kunj Chowk, Sector 93.
  5. Residents residing in ATS Village, Supertech Emerald Court Society adjacent to the tower can park their vehicles in Botanical Garden Multilevel Parking and New Bus Stand Sector 82.

emergency situation

  1. Contingency road for ambulance, fire service and other emergency vehicles in case of emergency from Sector 93 Tower to Sector 92 Ratiram Chowk or Aldico
  2. From Chowk to Felix Hospital Sector 137.
  3. From Sector 93 Tower to Shramik Kunj Chowk or ATS Chowk to Reality Hospital Sector 110.
  4. From Sector 93 Tower to Faridabad Flyover to Jaypee Hospital Sector 128.

In case of traffic inconvenience, you can contact the traffic helpline number 9971009001. In the event of vehicles standing on the way, 06 cranes available with the traffic police will be arranged on different routes to operate the traffic system around the tower, which will work as per the requirement.
