Today is the last day of campaigning for 59 seats in the third phase in UP, clash of veterans in Awadh and Bundelkhand

UP Assembly Election 2022: The campaigning for the third phase of elections will end from 6 pm today. In fact, in the third phase on February 20 in UP, voting is to be held in 59 seats in 16 districts, for which the election campaign will end today i.e. till 6 pm on Friday. In such a situation, all the political giants in UP will show their strength in the assembly seats of the state today.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Will address a public meeting in Mainpuri at 11:30 am today. After this, he will address a public meeting at Ghiror Mainpuri in Karhal at 12:30 pm. Kanpur at two in the afternoon and at four in the evening he will campaign for the Bhagwant Nagar assembly seat of Unnao.

SP chief will also address three rallies

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav will also address three rallies in the state today. He will rally at Madhavgarh in Jalaun at 10.30 am. He will take out Samajwadi Vijay Yatra in Kanpur at 11 am and will rally in Unnao’s Mohan at 4 pm.

Priyanka will also do virtual rally

After returning from Punjab, Priyanka Gandhi will once again take charge of the campaign on the land of UP. She will address the ‘Congress Pratigya Virtual Maharally’ in Lucknow today at 3 pm. Priyanka’s speech will be broadcast live in different assembly constituencies of UP through LED vans.

Defense Minister Rajnath and JP Nadda will campaign in UP

In Lucknow, the country’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will hold election meetings today. Rajnath Singh will address a public meeting at Alambagh Awadh Square in Lucknow at 5 pm, while the target is to address the public meeting at Rajaji Puram E Block Market at 6.30 pm. BJP President JP Nadda will reach Ayodhya, the land of Ram today. There he will address three public meetings. However, polling is to be held in Ayodhya in the fifth phase on February 27.

Voting is to be held in 59 seats in the third phase

It is worth noting that the total number of voters for the third phase is 2.15 crore (2,15,75,430) in which male voters are 1,16,12,010 and female voters are 99,62,324. A total of 627 candidates are in the fray for voting on 59 seats, out of which 531 are male candidates and 96 are female candidates.
