In such a blank folder, you do not see any icon or name until you hover your mouse over it.
You can use this type of folder to store any personal file. Such files which do not want to share with anyone else. In this article, we are going to tell you how to create such a folder.

To create a folder with a blank name, right-click anywhere on the desktop and choose New>Folder to create a new folder on your Windows desktop. When the folder is created, right-click on it again and click on Rename from the given options.

To remove the folder icon, right click on the folder again and go to Properties. Here, you can navigate to the last tab titled ‘Customize’ and then select the option at the bottom titled ‘Change Icon’. After this, scroll to the right from the default option that appears. Here you will see four empty icons. Choose any of them.
Now you have a folder created, which does not have any name or icon. The folder can only be viewed when the mouse is brought over it. If you use such a folder on your desktop, then you should keep it in a different corner of the desktop, so that you can easily find it.
