Patna, Severe heat has started in Bihar. The Meteorological Department has also given indications of heat wave. Meanwhile, the timing of schools in the capital Patna has been changed. Patna’s DM Chandrashekhar has issued an order in this regard on Friday. From Saturday 15th April, the timing of studies in schools will change. Classes will be held in schools only till 11:45 am. This order has been issued keeping in mind the heat. It has been told that this order will be applicable to all government and private schools including pre-schools, Anganwadi centers in the district. After this, education in schools will be banned.
In the order issued by the District Magistrate, it has been said that the health and life of the children is likely to be adversely affected due to the high temperature prevailing in the district and especially in the afternoon. In view of this, all educational activities are banned after 11.45 am.
Highest temperature in Patna on Thursday
On Thursday (April 13), an increase in the temperature of entire Bihar was observed, but the maximum temperature remained in the capital Patna. The temperature here was 41.5 degree Celsius, while the temperature in Sheikhpura was 41.4 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature of Gaya was recorded at 41.3 degree Celsius. The average temperature of entire Bihar remained between 38 degree to 41 degree. The lowest temperature was recorded at Kishanganj at 34 degree Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Center Patna, the heat can increase wildly in the next four days. There is a possibility of heatwave at one or two places in Jamui and Banka districts on Saturday. There is a possibility of heat wave in most of the districts of Bihar on Sunday and Monday. There has been a warning of further increase in heat.
